About Me
I’m Sophia Corst, and I am a recent graduate of Baruch College through Macaulay Honors College. As a Macaulay student, I have had the privilege of taking honors-level and interdisciplinary courses at Baruch, along with my concentration in Human Resource Management. Moreover, as a Zicklin Scholar, I completed a minor in Advanced Business Analysis to further my understanding of what makes a successful business model and how to effectively support a company's most important client, their people.
As much as I value education in a classroom setting, I strongly feel that my passion for Human Resources stems from my own positive experiences in the workplace. Through working on dynamic teams in the sustainability and hospitality industries, I have fostered an appreciation for evidence based management, coach centric leadership, employee development, and the building blocks of organizational culture. It is my belief that these areas of focus are essential for recruiting, selecting, and retaining top talent in competitive markets, while empowering them to grow both personally and professionally.
